“We were a group of 6 men on our annual fishing trip. The rental did not disappoint, Owners were very attentive to our needs leading up to our visit. Home was well appointed, clean and came as advertised. Great Lake for fishing, caught trout, bass, cusk and perch. The eagle that hung around while we fished was an added bonus. Overall a great trip!!!”

“Great accommodations from Chip and Kathy. In addition, they live nearby which is great in case anything pops up. Wood stove was already on when we arrived which was warm and cozy. House is right off of Rt 27 with about a 30 minute ride to the Sugarloaf base lodge. Will definitely stay there again.”

“This was an amazing spacious home the price was so worth it . There is a 2 bay garage for any out door activities when it's raining. they have a grill as well as a fire pit. There is a 20x30 fenced in area with a doggy door for your dogs this made it so convenient for vacationing. The bathtub down stairs is amazing with the jets and can fit two people. I have a family of 9 and we stayed comfortably...their is fishing spots in the area and your about and hour from Augusta and an hour and a half……

“The house & deck were very nice with beautiful view of the lake. It could use some typical amenities like tissues, hair dryer, etc. The main problem is getting to the house. It’s a 3/4 mile drive down a narrow stone road riddled with potholes and bumps. I was afraid I was going to do damage to the rental car and that’s driving at or lower than the 15mph speed limit! ”

“This was our third year in a row spending most of August at the wonderful Loons nest! Brent and Sarah are great and responsive hosts. The views and water are incomparable and the cabin itself has all of the modern conveniences while maintaining a rustic charm. It is one of our favorite places in the world and hope to be back next year!”

“Property was exactly as listed - view of the lake from the deck and living rooms was beautiful. Host was very available and responsive. We had a wonderful time - there were 3 generations of our family with up to 14 members staying at the home. We also hosted a larger family get-together with an additional 10 people for an afternoon with permission from the host. Everyone was impressed with the house, property, lake views, deck and dock. Four of our young adult cousins stayed in the log cabin……

“This was an amazing house-spacious and well set up for families with young or older kids. The downstairs has a large play area for kids and the upstairs dining room and living room are perfect for the whole family. The location was great-close to Colby College and its ski areas, as we were visiting for ski races. The lake views are amazing and we were able to cross country ski on the lake. We are hoping to return sometime in the summer as it would be a lovely spot to be outdoors and enjoy the……
