“Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! The location right on the river made for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Waking up to the sound of the water and enjoying coffee on the porch was the perfect start to our morning. The cabin itself was incredibly comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. We enjoyed beautiful views, and simply unwinding inside. “Love this house!”

“This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. ”

“Direct and to the point. My wife and I travel quite a bit and generally stay in VRBO‘s this place is the nicest that we have ever stayed in. It’s very modern and the attention to detail amazes me. This is the second time we’ve stayed there and I’m taking pictures and notes as it’s going to help me build the cottage we want to build for ourselves. Highly recommend this location. Sidenote, it has one of the best beds I’ve ever slept on!”

“Enjoyed this beautiful property. Spectacular view of Antietam Battlefield. Great spot for Civil War enthusiasts who will enjoy this high lookout for the Union perspective. Was great for our small family reunion. Nice gathering spaces and several away spots for individual privacy. ”

“This was a lovely getaway for me and my girlfriend. There were a few issues: the cabin could use a good dusting in kind of obvious spaces, host told us the cleaners hadn’t been in halfway through and that was a tad disconcerting, and I don’t think the listing mentioned how the cabin is so close to the main property. We think the privacy was still pretty good, but it would’ve been nice had that been clearer up front. Overall, a good stay. ”

“We loved the stay at the cabin this weekend! We arrived after dark, so navigating the area was tougher, but that's to be expected in the country with no streetlights. After all, that's why we were going there, to get away from our usual hustle bustle. We arrived to a very clean place with beds ready to be slept on!
