“Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. ”

From the excellent communication before arrival to the moment we arrived and beyond, Christopher (the proprietor) made sure we felt right at home. “The hostess could not be more friendly and catered well for my gluten free needs. The location in Black Mountains is gorgeous but this results in no phone signal. We had the attic room which had low ceilings so will choose a different room next time.”

“A really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. Just what i needed whilst working away from home. ”
