“For the price and location in Steamboat, the Folds Hotel was perfect for our family vacation with small kids. They are currently remodeling the exterior but our recently renovated room inside was very modern and comfortable. Quick access to the downtown and resort was key as we were able to use our room as a home base between activities to rest and regroup. The outdoor mini-golf area and hot tub were nice bonuses. The price for our two bedroom was almost half what the surrounding hotels charged.……

But we went to the room and it was actually quite nice. Just know you’re not here for any views. And figure out the way to get fresh air (through the unit all the way in the back) early. Not right before you check out. My bad on that. But if you’re in town to do stuff other than hang out in the room, like us, it’s fine. ”
