“We were headed to TN for hiking with our two teen boys and dogs and this cabin was the perfect location for all our planned hikes. The boys loved having lots of room the sprawl and the loft made a great master for my husband and me. The balcony views were perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The well stocked kitchen made all our meals easy, too. Thank you for a great New Year’s getaway!”

“Misty Ridge is a wonderful home with a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything is as pictured in the listing. The home is very clean. A nice driveway and easy to unpack your things. It has the basics you need to cook inside and grill. The firepit looks great but it was too windy when we stayed. We sat on the huge deck for hours just enjoying the sounds of nature and the views. The beds and the furniture were comfortable. I would love to come back! As others mention, it is off the beaten path……

“This house was the perfect place for our weekend! All of our children and grandchildren were there to celebrate my husband's birthday! I can't even begin to put into words how perfect this place was. There were 17 of us and nobody got in anybody else's way! All the bedrooms have different names, which was fun. The air hockey and pool table were in constant use, as well as cards and board games at the tables. The kitchen is very well furnished with any kind of spoon, ladle, or gadget you……

Unfortunately, the internet was out during our visit but on the plus, it made our family talk to each other”

“We have stayed in this house multiple times and it never gets old. We have always stayed in winter but the view doesn't disappoint. In the early morning the water is so still it's hard to tell where the rocks end and the water begins. It's accommodating for our large family.”
