“We had a great stay at Edgewater Retreat. Our family of 5 (adults) were in the area for a wedding. The house was just 10 minutes away, which made it so convenient for the festivities. Everything was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked. Our only issue was the coffee maker didn’t work, which I think was damaged due to recent storms (we let Chris know and he was going to replace it). “This place is so charming!! We were really bummed that we didn't get more time to spend at the actual property. We hit 2 theme parks during our stay that prevented us from doing much else. We had rain and thunderstorms for our first two nights so we couldn't use the hot tub, but luckily were able to the last night. This was the perfect respite for our family of 5 after busy days at the parks. We would definitely recommend it to others! ”

We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together.”

“Comfortable beds, plenty of room to stretch out & enjoy each other’s company, reading on the sunporch, water balloons on the lawn, fishing and kite flying on the dock, a visit to Fossil Beach ( the littles went home with three shark teeth), early morning walks at the wildlife preserve, and a lovely celebratory dinner at 1710 Tavern. A wonderful week with family! Thanks so much for allowing us to experience such a beautiful place! ”
