“We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. The weather was perfect. We would definitely stay again. ”

“This is a beautiful B & B with lovely gardens all around the property. The rooms were unique and well furnished and very clean. Breakfasts were amazing! “Caroline, the proprietress of the Victorian by the Sea, is a delightful hostess. The inn itself is lovely and beautifully maintained, with colorful, well-tended gardens. “Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. “Normally my wife and I are not big bed and breakfast people. However, Harbour Cottage had some of the best reviews in the Acadia National Park area. We gave it a try and we are so glad we did.
