“This was a last minute stay that was more than I expected. Thoughtful touches like chocolates on the pillows and homemade pastry in the morning. Also, the property manager was very helpful with tips about the area. The cabins were immaculate and everything was new and in top shape. I would highly recommend this stay.”

“Great location. Away from the down town bustle, but close enough to enjoy the best of both worlds. Clean cabin, great amenities. ”

“Upon checking in, my partner started to have a bad reaction to all of the fresh exposed wood in the house. Neither of us were aware she had this sensitivity. It did not affect me at all. Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“The cottage was lovely; there was everything we needed. The gas fireplace was wonderful so nice for cool evenings. The kitchen had all the basics for fixing a meal; but being half way between Belfast and Camden you have some wonderful places to eat! Also both towns offer a wide variety or shopping opportunities (no large box stores here!). The rocky coast lines is lovely!”

“The cabin is rustic and quaint but had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location was beautiful and it was close to everything. A grocery store essentially right up the road, the town of Southwest harbor a couple miles down, very easy access to Acadia National Park. We had the best time and would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to come again in the future!”

“We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!”

“We spent two wonderful weeks at Driftwood Cottage in July 2025. Jane and Miguel were superb hosts, equipping the cottage with everything we needed and responding quickly to any questions we had. We spent many hours on the screened porch, which overlooks the Bagaduce River, and used the kayaks to paddle to Castine for lunch and to explore neighboring coves. The cottage is perfectly located – close to great restaurants/bakeries (Tinder Hearth, Brooklin Inn and Buck’s Restaurant) and hiking……
