The hosts are very active and successful artists who all but gave us a private master class in how their work is imagined and created. I don’t know when we’ve had a more delightful weekend. The walks to the beach were lovely, too. ”

“Comfortable room overlooking the harbor. Breakfast was basic but good. Walkable to the main area of town with restaurants and shops. Was a nice stay with friendly staff. The only change I would suggest is the signage and door access. There was one sign to the pool which led down into a stairwell with an Exit sign. We entered the door and went down a few steps to a door that said only No Reentry, which was confusing. It did lead to the pool, but we didn't go out since we couldn't get back in,……

“I've stayed at lots of hotels in Old Saybrook and this is my favorite. The rooms are comfy. The staff is friendly. The management is conscious of indoor air quality (other hotels are not). I travel a lot for business and it's great to find a place I can get comfortable in. I've extended my stay here for these reasons.”
