“Stayed for a wedding, enjoyed fenced in yard for dogs. House was clean, plenty of room and close to quaint downtown area for lunch.”

“Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs. ”

“Was a great house to stay at. They accommodated my family well with my 3 dogs. Had a nice fenced-in back yard and plenty of space in the house for my family. Owner communicated with me well. I would recommend this VRBO for family too use. ”

“Staying there was above what we expected! My husband and our son stayed there because were in the area to drop our son off at Ft Gregg Adams for Ait. The base is almost a straight line from the property which made it very convenient On the outside of the property it’s very unassuming, but the inside was filled with antiques, original wood beams and the property is full with history. Decorated to the era. Being in the historical district of Petersburg was very fitting. Nightly we heard passing……

A great example of adaptive reuse architecture, this old store in historic Petersburg has been turned into living quarters that are modern and comfortable while retaining the character of the past. So cozy (yet spacious for a couple) and convenient to downtown. The owners make you feel like they are your best friends who strive to provide everything you need for your stay. We stayed here for a week of sightseeing and loved coming "home" every night to what we referred to……
