“The cottage was terrific as were the hosts, checking on us to ensure we understood how use the mini-split heating/cooling system. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. “I really enjoyed my stay in the carriage house. It is quaint, and the grounds are lovely, especially in the spring. With the good weather it was wonderful to sit and enjoy the pond, trees, and flowers. Everything was very clean and tidy. I felt safe. I walked alone during the daytime hours nearby and was fairly comfortable although did not venture by foot as far as the downtown. It is a historic site, so for those whose expectations are for ultra modern brand new fixtures/furniture, this would……

“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

“What a lovely home. I stayed here with my mother-in-law who was 91 and my husband. We would be happy to return to this lovely home which was so well supplied. There were were more towels than we could possibly used, extra pillows, wonderful kitchen supplies and loads of snacks and breakfast provided. Everything was clean and and just lovely.”
