“Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Cabin. It had a relaxing ambience and set up for comfort from the beds and furniture, the well equipped kitchen, ample towels and blankets, to the wrap around porch and the hot tub. It was meticulously clean! Even the wildlife seem to know this is a tranquil place-we viewed a baby deer about the grounds wait around for momma doe, which came to collect him towards dusk. Thanks, Mechele, for sharing your home with us!”

“We stayed here due to its forested/peaceful location; it's proximity to the Hocking State Park attractions; and it's convenient amenities. The cabin provided all of those and more. The hot tub was a great way to end a day of hiking; our kids (12 and 10 yrs old) loved the loft; and the solitude was the perfect way to unwind for a couple days.”
