“Started with a thoughtful call from Jim who runs the place, during the late afternoon explaining our food options locally. Very considerate based on the dining options around here being limited after 7pm. The place is amazing. Rooms are incredible. We took the row boat and kayak out on the lake and then made a fire in the pit. Jim brought out some premade s’mores packs with sticks. Just an amazing and outstanding place. Would highly recommend staying here. ”

“Great lodge. Well-stocked and fit our group of 9 easily. 2.5 baths. Hot tub, fire pit, sauna, screened in back porch were great. Easy walk to Monocle lake, lake superior trail on a sometimes busy road, but an easy walk. Great sunset view!Superb location to many of the best Upper Peninsula day trips. Will be returning when possible.”
