“Well Cottage is absolutely charming in every way! Great location, well appointed, and very clean with comfy beds and a great bathroom. (note: the bathtub/shower can be pretty high to step into for older or disabled folks but you can hold on to the sink to help you in--see the photos). About 9 steps to get upstairs. Bourton-on-the-Water is just a lovely village! A lot of other people must think so too--lots of tourists but they are well behaved, mostly families. Would love to stay there again.……

“The house felt like being at home, cosy and comfortable, Jane and her husband made feel welcome, as did the neighbours who walked past. Quiet, relaxing location and ideal centre for many local attractions.Will miss the hens and sheep!!!”

“The location is great. The property condition is good and clean. Thanks the owners who have provided a such lovely place to us. We have had a wonderful time here. ”

“This property was in the middle of town and very cute. It had everything we needed. Only caution: this is not small kid friendly (very steep stairs and rocks) and not ADA or for older people. But perfect for fit and mobile folks. The price was great value!”

“The cottage is very nice and has all you need for a pleasant stay. In case you need something and/or want some ideas what to do/where to go, Tichy ( Patricia) and Richard are ready to help. But the best thing about this cottage is it's LOCATION : starting from the cottage you can start kicking, cycling and you can visit a lot of little beautifull little towns, castles/mannors, gardens, ... after only a 30 min. drive. Oxford, Blenheim, the birthplace of Shakespeare, ... are within a 60 min.……

“Chapel Cottage is a spacious but cozy quaint home that is incredibly convenient to nearby county sites, villages, gardens and museums.Sophia and Hugh were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed several conversations when we just happened to be out in the adjoining gardens at the same time. The cottage kitchen is well stocked for cooking and many DVDs, books, and games are available.We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would not hesitate to rent Chapel Cottage again.”

“Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. ”

“We had an absolutely magical weekend in the Cotswalds. The property is perfect and exactly as described. Check in and check out were effortless, and the host was immediately responsive, even though Europe was in the midstate Verizon data glitch. It’s a short, beautiful stroll to Stow-on-wald and we spent a spectacular afternoon trekking to Bourton-on-the-water. The property is literally across the street from the Lower Swell pub which had great food and was an oasis of quiet local culture in a……
