“This was a very clean, cosy, well furnished cottage (previously an apple store) in the midst of glorious countryside. It has its own private garden looking out over meadows and woodland. The kitchen was very well-equipped indeed and the only thing I could have wanted were extra tea towels as I’m a very old fashioned washer upper! I know Sarah (who was most friendly and welcoming) would have provided some more if I’d thought to ask.I would unhesitatingly recommend this lovely place, with its two……

“Thank you for providing a home-like setting for our Canadian family of 5 while we explored the Cotswolds. Beautiful scenery at every turn and all the amenities needed for our stay were available and easily accessible. Our three very active boys (ages 9, 11 & 13) were able to spread out into the large spacious rooms and burn off their energy at the community soccer pitch down the hill. We loved being close to nature and exploring the Forest of Dean as well.”

“We enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at Orchard Cottage. Clive and Kaeren are gracious hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I inquired about an ironing board and it arrived at the door less than 10 minutes later! The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. Even though it was winter (and the weather wasn’t very cooperative) the property is lovely. I hope we will be able to return one summer to enjoy it in all its glory! “We truly loved the area. The house was well equipped. Nice neighborhood. Clean kitchen, bathroom comfortable beds. Only thing, the downstairs carpet sure needs to be changed and I didn’t get check in instructions on time. Had to find the phone number in the app and call host to get check in instructions. Once I got of hold of Sophie she was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience . Otherwise we enjoyed Lower Slaughter ”

“Elm Bank is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location in Lower Swell. The listing is accurate, if anything the pictures do not quite show you how large the cottage is. We were more than comfortable as a group of six adults. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, the fridge is expansive, and there's plenty of storage for food and other necessities. The beds are comfortable and the temperature of the rooms really is quite manageable once you get the hang of it. The garden is……
