“Nice hotel, reasonably priced. Close to Savanna Portage state park. Good breakfast, decent room and beds. Staff was very helpful.”

“What a hidden gem that’s a little off the beaten path. I was looking for a last minute place to stay near Rice Lake wildlife refuge and a room was available. The lodge room was above the bar, and we took advantage of the bar and then the pool area, so there was never a noice issue. The pool area was one of the cleanest I think I’ve ever seen. All the staff from the front desk to the bar was super friendly and helpful ”

“Pet friendly was great. Jeff promptly answered our texts. It was clean except for area rugs and couch were a bit grungie. Pull out bed was as pull out beds usually are... Kitchen was nice equipted, the outdoor gas grill was great. The cabin was very nicely decorated with tasteful decorations.”
