“This is the first place we checked in in our trip which includes 4 other hotels. We were surprised to see the place. It was spacious, clean, cozy with cabin cottage style. The place had all we need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the shopping/ dining area. Our room also had a beautiful view of the mountains. We regret not booking another night there. We would like to go back to this property in the future. ”

“I stayed at PlumpJack inn for a wedding I was attending down the road. I stayed for one night. My check in time was very close to the time that the wedding ceremony started, so I was a bit nervous that I was going to be scrambling and possibly late to the ceremony. I arrived in the late morning to PlumpJack and asked reception if there was any way I could check in earlier. “The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe is a very impressive property sitting on top of a mountainside in the Northstar resort area about halfway between Truckee and Kings Beach. “Entrance to the home was a bit scary because of the dropped off to the garage floor, especially at night when it was dark! The hot tub didn't look clean based on the look of the water. Other than that, everything else was fine. ”
