“Very nice home for large groups or families. Having three legit master bedrooms was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and kitchen gadgets. Hot tub and bbq worked great. Two minor critiques: the downstairs to upstairs is a loft-type design so noise carries, and pool access was in the listing but not actually available for short term guests according to the pool staff. Even if there is a work-around for the pool passes, the pool/resort fee is 24/person - not viable for a large……

“Family stayed at this house over the weekend and we all had a blast! The views are incredible and the house is amazing! I give this rental a 10/10!From the fishing, jet skiing and family time. House provided board games in the pool table room. Plenty of space to sleep. Sheets and the entire house was very clean. Beds and showers and bathrooms were all very clean. Felt like we stayed at a 5-Star Casino. The Lake Dock was one of the best features and is top notch compared to other homes at Donner……

“Very convenient location near the bottom of the slope close to the Northstar Gondola. We loved the property and little touches, like the snack basket, tea/coffee choices, etc. The view was fun, watching skiers come down the mountain. The best is ski in/out, no packing the car and driving necessary, at the end of a big ski day, it's so nice to be able to just relax.”

“Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have. They do not have benches for the dining table as shown in their pictures. They only have four chairs. The unit was in the perfect location. So physically, the unit was great. However, the management was not great. The person who gave us the keys was very sarcastic. His office was a total mess. I thought I went to the wrong……
