“Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights. Location is great for ski in/out at Tahoe Donner.The studio is small - expect an hotel room size.Communication with host was poor. We asked several times for Tahoe Donner guest cards (to access private amenities and get discount on lift tickets) and the host said they'd look into it but did not give us an update and ignored our follow up messages.”

“Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have. They do not have benches for the dining table as shown in their pictures. They only have four chairs. The unit was in the perfect location. So physically, the unit was great. However, the management was not great. The person who gave us the keys was very sarcastic. His office was a total mess. I thought I went to the wrong……

“Check-in was keyless and automatic, which sped up the process after a long drive. The place was cozy and very convenient to the Northstar resort. Wonderful views of the snowy forest behind the condo.”

“property location is at a manageable walking distance from ski lift, with a minor caveat: family with younger children may not be able to do this on a daily basis, as you are walking 3 levels of stairs up and down, plus treading through small woods area covered with un-plowed snow, across the parking lot, and cross the village. this takes approximately 10 min door to door. Property itself is a small studio, with enough amenity for a comfortable stay. Living area is already small, so if you……

“The cabin itself was great and our family had a great time. There is a snowstorm that came through while we were there and was impressed how quickly the streets and our driveway were plowed the next day. Would come again!”

“Everything was broken in this unit. We were here on 4th of July weekend. This unit has no air conditioning, so expect to die in the heat. Also, the refrigerator is broken, so don’t buy food unless you want it to rot! Lastly, very poor communication with property management. 10/10 do not recommend”

“We never received the key codes for bldg and room entry. Had to get there before close so get codes. Office help was very helpful. Room was clean and warm. Wi-if and cell connection was spotty but the views of the lake were beautiful. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Stayed with my wife and really just needed a place to sleep as we had family renting a larger home close by. This place did the trick and was a nice option to getting a hotel further away. Would recommend as the entire process was pretty easy.”
