“Super cute cottage on Sugar Island. This was my first time on the island. We didn’t have much time to explore, but getting to the cottage was easy. Perfect place for my daughter and I for a weekend of hockey in The Soo. (There for sure would’ve been room for the whole family to stay though.) We will be keeping this place in mind for more hockey trips that fall when it’s open! ”

“Beautiful accommodations. Great view of freighters from the living room. Since weather was cool, this was very comfortable. Spent 2 days, watching freighters, never left. Marc was an outstanding host!One minor complaint, outdoor furniture was dirty. I understand how difficult it is to maintain, but how about all weather, waterproof furniture?I definitely would book again!”

“Manager was excellent, knowledgeable about everything in the area. Manager was kind and friendly. Manager runs a wonderful little place and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a place for a night, week or month! “I'd been waiting 50 years to stay here! A fabulous little "tourist" motel complex literally across the street from the Soo Locks. As a child on vacation, my parents would drive by this modest venue on our way into Ontario to fish and etc. Our destination was never the Soo proper ... But it was mine, last week! Yes, the walls are thin and the venue itself is "retro" all the way, but the people are friendly and, honestly, compared to the two Wyndham properties I stayed stayed at on the same trip……
