“This place appears to be fairly new and was in excellent condition. There were a firepit and barbecue grill outside. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful. We did an afternoon hike through a nearby wildlife refuge. The kitchen was very well supplied with utensils and cooking equipment.”

Check in was easy and they communicated via text which made it SO easy. Everything was as expected and listed. We would absolutely stay here again when we return. “Such a wonderful little cabin in a great location! Everything you need is included which makes this even better. Beds were comfy, nice washer and dryer, kitchen has everything you could need but we did not cook. Love the screened in porch that looks into the woods so you have a little privacy. We also enjoyed the trail directly behind cabin and common fire pit 2 of the 3 nights we were there - all fire building materials supplied. The stars are unimaginable! Maybe 15 minutes into Bar Harbor -……

“It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.”

“The interior of the cabin had a bad musty smell. The ceiling and both floors in each bedroom need replacement. One of the heat a/c units was really loud the other worked fine. The TV’s were a nice touch in each bedroom and beds were very comfortable. I think a really good overhaul of the interior is badly needed. ”

“Explore Acadia Cottages is THE place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia! It far enough away, but minutes from everything. The most well appointed and beautifully decorated all wood cabin we’ve ever stayed in. All appliances and furnishings are top of the line. Would definitely go back!”
