“We loved our stay at Wild Dunes. The house was cozy and clean and the view was great. We could walk right out to the beach and watch the sunrise, or relax on the deck with a cocktail while the girls (9 and 11) played on the sand. I wish the fireplace was a working fireplace and the space could benefit from some beach items (towels, chairs, boogie board, buckets) as we did not think to cart all those things with us from Chicago, but we ended up buying a few items for our stay. “This is the second time I’ve stayed at Wild Dunes. I found our suite to be very nice for a family of 6. My only knock would be to perhaps add to the seating options in the living room area. Everything else was excellent! Bring a wagon to transport your stuff to the beach if you’re staying at Sweetgrass or the Residences, and you should be good. Loved the convenience of beach service. ”

I especially liked that we could all be together in the great room, yet there were plenty of quiet spaces, including the basement, patio, front porch, and bedrooms.
