“This house was so lovely for a ski weekend with friends and our families. The house is very well stocked with basic needs and coffee. I LOVED that everything was labeled to help us know what to do, what to not touch and how to work things! Such a unique historic house to stay in that we pass all the time when heading to ski! Great location for an easy 20 minute to Okemo and convenient store across the street! Our families really loved being able to spend time together in this house. ”

“Me and a few friends stayed at the River House during a long weekend during the Winter. The house itself was very nice and had many amenities.The location is good for some of the ski resorts in lower Vermont. However there was a rather large snow storm and due to the half hour 40 minute drive to the mountain we were not able to go because of the roads. This was no fault of the owners obviously but if you want to guarantee getting to the mountain maybe pick a place closer and have access to a car……

“The property was very cozy. The indoor wood burning stove was so nice especially watching the snow fall. The hot tub was great after a fun day on the slopes. The rooms were spacious ands loved the basement area with the pool table. Great little spot in the woods”

“Beautiful leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows reflected in a gorgeous pond with a pair of loons slowly floating by....Perfection! What a gorgeous location! We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! The house is large and comfortable- cozy couch, large piano, washer and dryer, tv, and wifi. We have to agree with other guests- the bed is squeaky....ridiculously squeaky.....to the point of……

Communication with the owner was exceptional. Close to a lot of things, however, we didn't venture out that much. Beds were comfortable to sleep in! ”
