“A gem of a location. Our room looked over the clock tower with the mountains towering in the background. It was picture postcard perfect. Rooms apear to have been newly renovated. It was a very quiet and comfortable location. The village of Chiavenna is beautiful, looking like it has been untouched by time. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. ”

“Beautiful hotel in the heart of Poschiavo. The whole staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel has so much history in this beautiful town. The food was also excellent. We hope to return again!”

“This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern. Our room had a balcony and nice view (but deck a bit creaky, due to age of planks - like I said, it is an old structure). Dennoch gab es ein vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet. Für das Abendessen empfiehlt sich je nach Saison eine rechtzeitige Reservation in einem der Restaurants im Ort.”

“Hotel Albana was an excellent hotel and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel has great amenities including the restaurant, foyer bar and lounge, and the spa which was modern, very clean and included a dry sauna, steam room, outdoor cedar hot tub, and a cold plunge.
