“We had an amazing weekend at Braden’s Ridge retreat. The house was immaculate and had everything you need. We were in town visiting my son at Mars Hill University and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have booked a better home for our long weekend. ”

“The house was very well appointed and clean, appreciated the nice linens and sheets. Kitchen had everything you would need. Also thankful for coffee and teas that were provided, nice touch! Back patio was awesome, ate a door dash breakfast out there! Floors are a little “wonky “ but the amenities certainly made up for it. Would recommend!”

“It is a lovely, secluded property that could accommodate us all. It was well-appointed, including everything one might need. Check in and check out were easy, and the host responds quickly. I specifically looked for a property with a pool and this is listed with a pool--it actually has a small cool/cold spring-fed "hole" (maybe 7'x7')--if you go in, I recommend shoes, the silt is a little unnerving. ”

“Our stay was absolutely amazing! The home is spacious and beautifully designed, with a sprawling layout that offers both comfort and privacy. The primary suite was a dream, featuring a screened porch and a heated shower floor—pure luxury!The setting is serene, with stunning mountain views and the soothing sound of a small waterfall in the mornings. My son had a blast exploring the creek and even found crawfish! The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings.Even though I had to work……

“We enjoyed the easy access to the highway. There were plenty of dishes and pans to cook meals. The grocery store is only 8 minutes away. Also, the porch right off the kitchen was nice for enjoying the sun and morning coffee. There were several board game options for evening activities. Two things to note for planning a stay at this home are there is not a dishwasher and the pull out couch is made out of assembling couch cushions, so it is not a sleeper sofa. ”

“All the Easter Lillie’s were in bloom and it was beautiful! The large windows brought in all the sunshine and helped us to wake up with a smile! Definitely recommend this home for an enjoyable stay!”

Joe is the ideal host, readily available, quick to respond, and extending warmth and welcome. We always recommend going to his food truck on the property too--delicious BBQ! Cannot recommend Joe as a host or this property highly enough. Truly a joy to stay there every time!”

“A few guys and I were in town working on the storm debris cleanup. We were able to contact Angie, the property owner, and meet with her. We needed to make sure that it met our needs as we would need to rent for two weeks. They showed us the property and it was perfect. With the long rental, they made sure everything was stocked that we needed for the whole time. They found out it was my birthday and dropped off a cookie cake and a balloon. It was just a nice touch since I was away from……

“This trip could not have been any better! The house was clean with the perfect layout for our group. Everyone enjoyed the farm tour and smores party, seeing and meeting all the animals, watching the piglets, holding baby chicks etc. There is so much room outside to explore and play. It’s so peaceful, none of us really wanted to go home. Kids are already planning our next visit. ”

We were enchanted with the baby pigs and goats, the swing was a huge hit and Farmer Steve was patient and allowed the girls to help him. We will never forget our week. Thank you. “Whoa! Cannot begin to explain the beauty of this newly renovated farmhouse. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals throughout the year and this, by far, is at the top of my list. The host did such a great job with updating the farmhouse, with still leaving its 1915s charm. The houses' decor is a boho whimsical dream! The rental is very well supplied: iron, blow dryer, laundry machines, shampoo/conditioner, espresso machine&&pods :), cleaning supplies, and my favorite part tons and tons of comfy……
