“My family of 4 had such a great time in this home in Southwest Harbor. I am so thankful for this peaceful retreat away from the crowds and stress of Bar Harbor. The house was lovely, quiet, and cozy. It was so clean and well-constructed. We have stayed in rental properties about twice a year for the last 12 years, and this one was my favorite. The owners are meticulous with their information and instructions which I really appreciated. They took as much time to prepare the home and visitors as I……

“Our overall impression of this property was that is was very nice. We were very close to Acadia National Park and had an easy time getting around. Eve was a very delightful host and made sure were had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we are in the area!”

“Overall the cottage stay was fine. It was clean. The bathroom could definitely use a makeover - everything worked and there was plenty of hot water but it’s old. No extra towels were provided. The kitchen was newly renovated but it’s tiny. There’s a tiny refrigerator and no oven. And there are very few utensils, just the bare minimum. We stayed for three nights and cooked or prepared all of our meals there. The location to the park is very good. And overall it’s a totally acceptable……

“great location close to Main St. Kitchen and part of bath undated. Cons: toilet crooked; floors in rooms old. Communication process for check in a little rocky: didn't get electronic documents or check-in info until last minute; onsite housekeeper had changed. Pros: Owner worked hard to clear up communication confusion despite being away on vacation. ”

“Property is new construction and very nicely laid out. Location is set back from the road so there is prettymcuh no noise from cars. My son and I had a great time walking through the woods on the property. Mike, the owner, was very communicative and had no issues with our requests”

“The studio is clean and in a great location to access Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. As described in other reviews, the ceiling is slanted and walls are thin. My husband bumped his head a few times and we could hear children playing in the other units. These two items did not hinder our experience. ”
