“The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden……

“The cottage was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable, We really enjoyed and made good use of the fire pit. It was all set up and ready to light. Southwest Harbor is my favorite place to stay on the island. It is much less touristy than Bar Harbor but still has some good dining options as well as a nice coffee shop. We had a great stay.”

“Wonderful home right on a quiet lake. We had access to a kayak and canoe, which my husband used to go fishing a couple times. The outdoor fire pit is great! The home was immaculate and as listed. The host was responsive when we had questions. We would love to go back with friends or family again.”

“Our cottage was absolutely perfect for our family. The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. The whole property was spotless and beautiful. Conveniently located to the park and some excellent lobster rolls. I cannot say enough good things. We very much enjoyed our stay, only wishing it was longer.”

“Our stay fit our needs just right. We needed a clean place to crash while spending most of our time in Acadia or somewhere on the island, and this spot is just minutes from crossing over to the island. <5 mins to great morning coffee spots, several lobster shacks. Having white noise helps drown out road noise. Wifi in room 10 is spotty and needs an extender, as cell service is sparse. I would definitely suggest adding more wall hooks throughout the room and bathroom - much easier to hang up gear……

“My husband and I enjoyed staying at the Beehive Tiny House. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen seemed well stocked even though we didn’t make anything but coffee. It was cozy but just right for the two of us. The shower had great water pressure. Everything was clean. The property is very close to many Acadia sites on the Southwest side of Mount Desert Island. It’s about a 20-25 minute drive to the larger side of the park. The Southwest Harbor town is adorable and everyone is so kind.……
