“My husband and I LOVED this place! It was clean, cozy, and in a great location to get to Summerville Lake and the New River Gorge. The extra attention to detail in decorating and welcome s’more treat was wonderful! The only minor drawback was that we needed directions to get the tv to work. “This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. We loved the firepit, the grills, and the board games (Clue forever!). William was wonderful to work with, very responsive. All the stars!”

“The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray. ”

“We had a great time. The property was as described. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the deer. Only thing that would make it better would be a softer mattress in the main bedroom and maybe so pillows on the couch . But everything else was perfect. Hope to rent again in future. “We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again.
