“IMPORTANT: there is no Verizon signal for a 30 minute radius around the property, so be prepared with phone numbers, printed check in info (ask for door code), follow up email/questions a few days before you check in. We spent our first day a bit frazzled, but had a lovely rest of our stay. Bring spices, proper kitchen knives and aluminum foil/parchment if you intend to cook. And robes for the tub! “Finding this cabin was tricky for us . I went to the vrbo “booked trip”and pressed the directions here and then pushed on google maps and it was taking us to Massie Mill ? Location is good if you are looking to check out devils backbone or blue toad which were a lot of fun . ”

“Everything was perfect, just that the second floor bedroom carpet was a little stained in places and the deck is starting to show its wear. The property and grounds need to be updated. I would stay again even with those minor issues. ”

“We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! ”

We enjoyed the vinyl records, the DVD collection, and classic video game system and the coffee and hot cocoa station! It was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. “If you want to get away from it all and enjoy the outdoors, stay here. The cabins are lovely and comfy. You can enjoy your coffee on the porch overlooking the stream. Hikes and wilderness galore. Beer, wine and civilization a 30-ish min drive away. Easy check-in process and good communication. The other cabins are close but its set up well for privacy - we wouldn't have even noticed there were people staying next to us if we haven't seen their car.”
