“Wonderful communication with property owner, comfortable beds and amenities like a welcome basket with snacks/bottle water/juice was an added bonus. Very clean throughout and easy to follow check-in and out instructions. Only minor complaint is that the air conditioner for the upstairs room was off upon arrival, so the room was quite hot when we arrived near 8pm at night. Would definitely stay again as we were close walk to the beach and local food spots. ”

“Repeat guest.. stayed in another unit previously *loft property.Property is very close to the beach, can walk into the sand from the property. Pet friendly is a plus.. lots of doggos on the beach.Property has the basics.. minimal items in unit, so you need to bring quite a bit of things to make your trip complete. Owners have several units, so amenities are shared. Husband and I used the charcoal grill and set by the firepit in the sand. Not sure id stay in this particular unit again, but id……

“We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. ”

“The cottage was in the perfect location for our visit to Yorktown. Once there we really didn't have to drive much. It is easy to walk down to the water, to the battlefield and the American Revolution Museum. We walked to restaurants and shops. The trolley that does a loop has a stop directly across from the cottage. The cottage had nice places to sit outside, plenty of room in the living area. “As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly. “The host was nice. The AC was not adequate and it didn’t get above 72 degrees out. There are three houses between this location and the beach. There’s no back door area, it opens up to the road. It is, however on the same side of the road as the bay. The “laundry” is literally a laundromat he told me about when I texted and asked about where the washer and dryer are. It’s really is a decent place to stay. One of the pictures is misleading. It’s a twin bed and a double bed. There’s no outside……
