“Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. “The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. They were fast and lots of choices. It had lots of baked goods. “There are not many places to stay near Hillsdale, NY. The Brooks Motel is an exceptional find. A renovated 1950s roadside motel, The Brooks provided a safe haven for the night. A no host hotel, guests are provided by email a code for the keypad on the door. A text and phone number are provided to reach the host if something is needed. The hosts are quick to respond and very gracious. Beds are new memory foam and very comfy. My only complaint is that there is no carpet on any floor, only……

“This was my first time staying here. It’s a throwback to the 60’s/70’s when my family would go on vacation. They’ve done a good job in upgrading the bathroom, TV & WiFi and installed a manufactured wood floor getting rid of the who know’s what you find in much more expensive motels. This isn’t 5-star Hilton, but you get a that throw-back/cozy feeling of years past. Pricing is commensurate with what you get. Will definitely cone back when in the area!”
