It is just as impressive in person as it is in the photographs, and it was absolutely immaculate.This is an ideal destination for a couples' getaway, an author's retreat, or a grandmother heading to a concert in Atlanta--as I was!Basic toiletries, snacks, and COFFEE (my ONE essential in any lodging!) were provided. “What a little gem! We enjoyed peace and quiet and had a lovely rest at the Lakeside Retreat. We were spoiled by our host Donna who is very caring and her place were fully stock with everything you need. It was very clean and spacious for a couple to enjoy a quick get away for a week or weekend. Donna we will be back, thank you very much for checking on us often to make sure we have what we needed. We will definitely book the Lakeside Retreat again. ”

“The house was clean and very nice. Check in was easy and there were clear written instructions for almost everything. I did struggle with how to operate the ceiling fan and light that hangs from the center of the home, but we figured it out eventually. There was the maintenance issue of a large branch hanging down from the tree overhanging the driveway. I ended up taking this down myself as I would not have been able to park if I did not.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s place Cozy Cottage. The special touches that Paul and his wife provided were very appreciated. Everything was clean and looked exactly like the pictures online. Although not mentioned in the listing, there is a full-size washer and dryer. One of the best values on Lake Lanier. A great cozy getaway!! Also wonderful because we were able to see some deer. Paul was communicative and very helpful. A wonderful host! We highly recommend this property. ”
