“My sister and our spouses and children got away from DC for a long weekend. This place is a piece of paradise. We had six people in our group which is the right size for this house. We were outside almost the entire time, trying to fish/crab off the dock, sitting at the firepit, or going for a row in the numerous kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. Very peaceful neighborhood and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would highly recommended. Did not have any issues with the house and good……

“Our second time staying at the house. We absolutely love the property and all its surrounding wildlife. Enjoyed spending time hiking, fishing, crabbing, and watching eagles flying over the water. “We were booked to go to OBX, but the snowstorm changed that...so plan B! Plan B was a fantastic choice...great place to chill out, drink wine, dance and relax by the bonfire! “We knew that April would be an iffy monlh to rent, but the weather did cooperate. The water was too cold and it was extremely windy but we did get to sit on the beach one day, fly kites and play in the sand on other days. Beautiful view, beautiful home. Lots of toys/books for our 4 grandchildren to play with. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen provided lots of room for all of us.”

“I booked 2 nights with my parents and grandparents at the island girl getaway. It was possibly the best beach experience I’ve had yet. Tangier is an incredible island rich with history and certainly worth a visit. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the caretaker, Andy was very helpful and kind. We happened to come to the island when the tides were unusually high occasionally throughout the day, yet I would note that our house seemed to be the only one which had no water near it……
