“A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted.”

“What a lovely experience to be in a restored 11th century castle. The restaurant has a limited menu but you will not be disappointed. Everything is homemade including pastas and local cheese production. Italian meats are made during the slow season by the workers at the hotel. The view of the valley from the back door of the dining room is spectacular. This is a hidden jewel in Calabria. ”

“Amazing place, another case where the picture do not say the beatiful that the place is. i was in the room 102 in the first floor. has a lot of excellency. the breakfast is ok! you can part at the back of the building. the city is like medieval. the personal does not speak english but they are super good guys.”

“Detta var tyvärr inget bra hotell. Skitigt både inne och ute. Otroligt hårda sängar, och sliten interiör. Hundar börjar skälla kl 05 på morgonen. Lyhört. Luktar unket i rummet. Man skulle duscha i ett stort badkar på rummet men duschstrålen var så dålig att det gick inte att duscha. Poolen utomhus var avstängd så det gick inte att bada. ”
