The back of the home opened up to a deck and a large yard, which would have definitely been utilized if it wasn’t February! The owners were very responsive to our questions and needs….so much nicer than dealing with a property management company. We really enjoyed our time at Fern Hill!”

“The beds were comfortable. The living room was perfect. We were very comfortable on the sofa watching movies in the evening with a nice fire. Upstairs was perfect for the teen that wanted to play video games with his own Xbox.”

The house had absolutely everything we needed for cooking family meals. As with many old homes, the stairs are a little steep and there is a main floor bedroom for those who need to avoid stairs. ”

“Had a great stay with this property. We had another vacation planned and were thrilled to be able to stay here on such short notice. Got some time out on the water which is far enough away from industrial ports to be safe to swim in and harvest shellfish more than a lot of waterfront places further north. The house is a ways out from major grocery stores but there was a great little general store that will cover you for anything you forgot about after you get off the highway.”
