“Quaint cottage right on Lake Josephine. Very welcoming and had all the amenities you need! The best location on the island. 1 mile walk to the store and coffee shop. Restaurant and bar right next door and the golf course is just across the road. Islanders were very friendly and helpful. We rented kayaks from a local that lived just down the street. Only place on the island that we found to get lake equipment. Bring your fishing poles and your swim trunks. There is few great spots for swimming……

“The Steilacoom Ferry was simple to navigate online tickets as well as boarding. During the short ride across the water to Anderson island we saw dolphins and tons of jellyfish. The VRBO was incredibly easy to find from the ferry docking- maybe a 5 minute drive & just two turns. The back deck of the VRBO faces the water. You can just sit out and watch the sound first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. Having complete access to the waterfront as well as kayaks was amazing. During low……

“The stay here was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the ducks and ducklings, the geese and their goslings, and the deer meandering through the property. The house was clean, tidy, and well labeled and stocked. We wish we could have stayed longer. While overall it was a great stay, the description of beds is a bit confusing. We needed 4 beds for 5 people. There were 2 queen beds and 1 twin murphy bed each in their own bedroom. It lists a double bed but isn't clear where. It seems……

“We enjoyed our visit to Centralia for a local baseball tournament. The house gave us plenty of room and allowed us to eat in for several meals. The proximity to the tournament and restaurants gave us lots of flexibility. Despite warm outside temps the house remained comfortable inside. The hosts communicated throughout our stay and provided us flexibility with check-in and out times. The lot could use some yard maintenance but the house is clean and updated. “Nice house, plenty of space, beautiful neighborhood with great bird song if that's your thing. Hot tub was definitely a huge draw and we loved it. Only detracting one star because something went wrong with the fridge. It stopped putting out cold air after we arrived. No idea why as no one did anything that could have damaged it, especially not the compressor. Luckily we didn't need it much so it all worked out. ”

“The house is super cute and clean! The decor was adorable. The views were amazing. I appreciate the only having 1 tv, as we visited and enjoyed the beauty! The only thing I felt uneasy about, was owners are on site and watch the house pretty closely! We woke up Sunday to them gardening 15’ from the house. I get it’s a working farm, but it felt really awkward as we were checking out! Other than that, everything was perfect!”
