“Erstaunt, da nirgends ersichtlich, waren wir, dass unser Zimmer ca. 300m vom Haupthaus entfernt in einem Nebengebäude war. Erreichbar nur zu Fuss über einen Kiesweg, der sich beim Regen in einen Sumpfweg verwandelte. Keine Regenschirme auf dem Zimmer! ”

“Bellissima residenza signorile. Appartamento spazioso e funzionale. Bella piscina e zona tranquilla in campagna. Personale gentilissimo.”

“The property seemed very new and was very clean and spacious. We did have a room with a terrace but being December and in the middle of a storm we didnt get to use it but I'd imagine it would be lovely on a nice warm evening. It is overlooked by high rise buildings so not private. We felt very welcome on arrival and were shown how to use the facilities. The rooms are above a restaurant which even though they had a party that evening we didn't hear much noise and very local to the main streets……

“Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. ”

“Very nice private beach. Rooms - we had a bungalow- are totally ok, yet need a refresh/update. Breakfast was very good, friendly stuff, non problem at all to stay longer even though bf ended at 10am. We enjoyed our time at Il Pelagone- many thanks!”

“It hurts a bit to have to pay 115€ for a 3-star hotel that looks like we're back in the 90'ies... On top of that, there was no hot water... Honestly, this hotel should cost max. 50-60€ per night, but they understand it's "tourist season", so they're ripping people off. Staff and breakfast were great.”

“I just needed a place to sleep so I could spend my days at the beach. This was a very affordable hotel for me travelling alone and I found the staff very accommodating and friendly. The outside of the building in the back didn’t look the neatest and the pool did not have water in it as something had broken and it was not fixed when I stayed there. It also was far away from the town so I had to walk five minutes to take a fifteen minute bus ride to the beach and back every day, which was fine for……
