“I cannot say enough praise for The George Manor! From the staff to building, from the mural on the wall to the tea served at High Tea Time, everything had a story! The owner was so sweet and took the time to answer every question, the chef was amazing and had so much richness to share of his life, the property and the city itself, the bed gave me the greatest night sleep of my entire life, and the breakfast and tea time were so amazingly authentic it took me back to my time in the UK eating……

“We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was rainy. Touring around the museum and the various train cars was super fun. The grandkids (ages 4, 6, 7, 9) were over the moon with this 'surprise' overnight stay before we headed to our cruise. The staff were terrific. The pullman car was awesome. We knew it wouldn't be a spotless, newly built hotel room, but this made it all the more exciting to be in a venue from days gone past.”

“Beautiful spacious and inviting classic house! Our hostess was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was “The Preacher” and it was outstanding. Very large, comfortable with an incredible bed and a 7 foot claw foot soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. ”
