“We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room……

“The Willow-Wisp condo we stayed at on the 7th floor (#714) was nice, spacious and modern. The bathroom was upgraded and clean. Downsides: the carpet had bugs (more lady bugs than anything), the housekeepers are probably not vaccuming as often as they should be. The outside balcony was also full of mosquitos so we could not really sit out there to enjoy the lake view. The bedroom drapery rod was very unsteady. The drapery panels are too long & people probably stepped on it & pulled down the……

“We rented this for our family after reading the description of two bedrooms and a bunk bed. Upon arrival, the room was nothing of the kind and the woman at the front desk told us we had to deal with it because we booked with VRBO. We had people sleeping on the floor and it was so small, we were walking on each other. No more than one person could be in the kitchen at a time and it made the experience very uncomfortable. The room it’self had its own set of issues that i feel were important. The……

“Spiral staircase not for seniors. Difficult to come down spiral staircase at night to use bathroom. had to leave lights on downstairs to find way to bathroom at night as furniture on lower level placed too close to staircase to avoid possible hitting head when walking by or near staircase. Hallways narrow, hot and dark. Entry with code difficult at night and too many digits to enter in dark hallways without using phone flashlight. WiFi reception terrible. Could not make phone calls while in the……

“We have stayed at this resort before. Resort is nice. This unit however is extremely outdated. No ice maker and no ice bucket to put ice in. Pictures on the walls look like they were homemade in the 70’s. No communication prior to check in. Sent 2 messages. No reply. For the price we paid for 2 nights you definitely would think the unit would be more inviting. We won’t book this one again unless it gets updated. ”

“Loved my stay in this cute and efficient condo. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The location was ideal and refreshing with a great view. The only reason I even took 1 star away was because of some little things that need someone’s attention. There were ants in the kitchen and hall that I had to sweep up and get rid of each day and a small spotting of mold on the ceiling of the shower, and a crack that was peeling in the center of the living area ceiling. “Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 pre- teens. The unit was clean and comfortable,nwith hreat lake views. The property was in a great location close to everything we were doing. During the weekdays the building was super quite; the weekend got much busier. On-site restaurants were very convenient and tasty! Wpuld stay here again! ”
