“Great place to stay if you want to see Keystone and nearby Mount Rushmore. Very spacious (for three of us), clean, a short walk from the boardwalk/downtown area. Very comfortable beds.”

“Seen some historic stuff ”

“From being able to pull into the attached garage to unload in the rain (priceless), to relaxing in the hot tub, this was a wonderful place. Everything you could think you needed was already provided- towels for hot tub, ice cube tray, beans for coffee & grinder, and more. The beds & linens were top notch, and love having thermostats in each room. Great location with restaurants in walking distance. We hiked some of the local trails, and again- fantastic location to Custer State Park , Crazy……

“We enjoyed staying in Unit 5. It was a nice size which gave us room to spread out. The smart TV had all our apps which was nice. The bedrooms were large with a king in one and two queens in the other. We loved having the washer and dryer available to do our laundry midway thru our trip. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to have a little of everything. The hot tub was large, but needed to be cleaned. (Looked like someone had been in it with lotion on, which they expressly asked renters not……

“Our group of four stayed at The Paddle House in Custer for four nights in July 2025 to ride the full 109-mile Mickelson Trail. The cabin was pristine, with a generous kitchen and a deck featuring a hot tub, ideal for relaxing after our rides. The garage was perfect for storing our bikes securely. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. The only issue was a broken dryer, which we hope is fixed for future guests. Highly recommended for trail riders!”

“Cute duplex in a nice location ”

“Perfect location in the center of everything you want to see, close to grocery store, gas station and ice cream shop etc. Clean property and responsive host. Hot tub was clean and perfect after a long day. Fire pit area and pool table were a real nice bonus (in unit 1) We left a few suggestions for additional comfort and the host was very friendly and appreciative. ”
