“If you are looking for a nice quiet get away this place is for you. The town is so cute and everyone is really nice. The scenery is gorgeous. We stayed here to be close to the cliffs of Moher. Room was pretty basic but perfect for a one night stay. Owners were wonderful. ”

“Bayfield House is located on the beautiful Flaggy Shore, in the heart of the magnificent Burren - perfect for daily walks and hikes. The house is warm and welcoming, with lots of space for our party of 14 - adults and teenagers. We could all gather together comfortably in the large living and dining room, and those who wanted a quiet reading or chatting space also found many a cosy corner. Special touches include the wood-burning stove in the living room, the reading room on the first-floor……

“We stayed at the Stone House for 4 nights and hated to leave. We were delighted with everything about the house itself, and the view of the ocean and cows was amazing! Being in the Burren was really wonderful and we visited many of the places recommended by our hosts. The pub down the street had delicious food and we tended to avoid the crowds of Doolin. I can’t recommend this house highly enough and we hope to come back some day.”

It is centrally located to Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Galway, etc. The house was fabulous but Ann, the host, was phenomenal. She gave wonderful advice about places to explore, was responsive to inquiries and just an all around wonderful person. We are so glad we found this home and appreciate Ann opening it up to us!”
