“I stayed in El Beaterio for 4 nights. It’s such a beautiful casa museo located in a quiet area. The room is nice and clean decorated with old maps of La española. The courtyard has lots of sunlight and plants that I enjoyed my breakfast here (though you need to apply mosquito repellent as they are quite active if you come in early morning like 6-8am) Check out the terrace in the early morning and you would get a nice photo with sun rise. I had a booking issue through a third party, and he took it upon himself to resolve it quickly and with a positive attitude. The city was beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly and worked hard to ensure all our needs were met by truly going above and beyond to arrange transportation to the hotel! The room and bathroom were spotless. The only thing I wish they had were small washcloths for your face or body, but that may be an American culture thing.
