“The beds are comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. And they take pets. We brought our golden retriever. there are two bedrooms. And the third bedroom is in the hallway with a blackout curtain. we could fit our midsize truck in the garage. The only downfall is road noise. road noise is not unique to this unit. about 50% of the units have road noise to some degree. Our unit had a noise canceling machine, which was nice. “Overall our stay was great. The only complaint was that on the listing it specifically stated that the master bedroom with a king size bed has its on en suite bathroom. When we arrived we immediately noticed that it was the room with the queen size bed that has its own bathroom not the room with the king. This was not ideal for us as it forced my husband and I to share the very small hallway bathroom with our two kids. I would not have stayed here had I known this was the layout.”

“We enjoyed five days of quality family time at this chalet. There was ample room to spread out and have privacy, while sharing common gathering places. “This is a fantastic location and the pool and hot tubs were a big hit for my daughter. It was nice to unwind in the hot tub after a day of skiing. The townhome was nice but a little beat up. Some of the dishes & pots and pans were dirty. I think the cleaners need to do a more thorough job. Overall the place was nice and properly advertised though. We will definitely come back to Collins Lake!”

“Staying with two kids under 5, this was an excellent base camp right on the mountain. The house was well equipped and the boot drier and sleds in the garage were a huge plus! Our location was right across the street from a great sledding hill for this age. The only negative I could think of was the cleanliness of some of the dishes. They needed to be washed again before use, but certainly didnt take away from the trip. Would definitely recommend!”

“This home is perfectly perched at the top of the hill for stellar sunrises and sunsets which we loved. Well appointed, had all the cooking supplies we could need. Hot tub was a great perk. Only thing to keep in mind is the house can take a while to heat up in the winter in sub 30 degrees so just be sure to run that and the fireplace immediately at check in and you’re good to go!”
