“My family (2 adults, 1 teen and 11 yr old) met up with my in laws (2 adults, 7 year old and 4 year old) for a quick weekend visit. They live in SC and we are in AL so this was almost perfectly in the middle. Everyone had a great time. There was plenty to do for the varying ages of the kids. Between the swing set, kayaks, and exploring the property the my were busy and tired. My son brought his fishing stuff and caught his first fish off the dock within 15 mins!! “We didn’t need anything fancy, just a place to sleep for a couple of nights. Which is good, because the place was a little worse for the wear. The kitchen had water damage to the floor which was making the boards come up. The A/C was questionably working. And the place was not the cleanest when we got there. That said, it was quiet, and comfortable for sleeping. Which is all we needed. So, good place for our purposes.”

“Could not contact the property owner for check-in details. Property was deserted upon arrival. Both the phone number and emails listed were incorrect. Conditions seemed unsafe to enter and owner/manager was not available.”

“We had a great stay at the deck house. The place was perfect and plenty of room for our group. Sitting on the decks during the morning and afternoon were our favorite. At night we joined in the living room for games.The best room to sleep in is the back bedroom. It is the furthest away from the kitchen and I didn’t hear anything.The property was well maintained. They even had good tissue paper which is a plus.I do recommend arriving before it gets too dark, at least for the first time.Jarod……

“The house was a nice colonial style home. It was familiar with one I lived in as a teen. It was easy access and hosts responded quickly and even let us check in 2 hours early if it could be cleaned in time. However, upon arrival we immediately noticed there were no curtains on the front glass door or windows. The sheer curtains in the bedroom facing the street and living room was a little nerve racking. There were also no curtains in dining room or kitchen.My mom had to clean the microwave……
