“Serene and peaceful, this weekend getaway was so good for the soul. The horses and donkeys in the lower level of the barn each had their own unique personalities that enhanced the festivities. Walking around the property accompanied by three happy dogs while hearing the goats bleating and the chickens crowing in the background only added to the quiet winter magic. “We had a great experience with this property. It was clean and comfortable. It does not have air conditioning, which was stated in the description of the rental. We did bring a couple of fans for at night, just in case. It was quite warm at night so we used the fans. The neighborhood was fairly quiet which was nice. The grounds are kept up and nice to sit out in the back listening to the birds. The hosts were easy to contact and fairly quick to responding with sny questions or concerns.”

“The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. ”

“This was a great, cozy place for my wife and I to stay in Collinsville. The rooms were tastefully decorated, in great shape, updated, clean, and peppered with cute artwork based on the "when pigs can fly" theme that always brought a smile to my face when I found another one. “This is a beautiful mid century modern house! The windows in the main room are huge and really fill the room with light, and the couch is large and comfortable. The whole space was very clean, the bathrooms had everything we needed, and the office provided a nice private place to take a zoom meeting or two. Comfortable beds, a pretty three season porch, and it was a perfect relaxing retreat for two teachers looking for peace and quiet on their spring break.”

“We met our kids (who live on the east coast) at Natures Nest and really enjoyed our time here. We cooked 2 big meals and the kitchen had everything we needed…even spices & coffee.
