“We had our anniversary get away to the Galena area. Had a wonderful stay at this location away from the busyness of life. Had a wonderful night at Fergetaboutit winery/concert listening to “Classical Blast”.A fantastic breakfast at Otto’s in Galena. Great spot!”

“Booked on a whim to get away for a couple nights along the Mississippi and this seemed like the right fit. We weren't looking for anything extreme, just something comfortable and near the water. This certainly checked the boxes! The host was wonderful and very accommodating to allow us to bring our pup along for the fun. Close to some great wineries and breweries. If you've never experienced the Mississippi River's unique tempo, this is perfect. The train trestle was visible right from the back……

“Well-appointed, beautifully decorated home-it was great for our family get-together. Bright, spacious space. Just step out on the screened porch to see deer across the pond, listen to birds or bullfrogs. We also enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered porch downstairs while our child played on the sandy beach in front. The foosball table downstairs was a family fave as was the catch and release fishing in the lake. Great communication with responsive host.Pro tip: grab groceries at Sullivans……
