“The rooms at the Nevins Lodge were newly renovated and a spacy :-) bath. The beds are spatious and new. The people at the pub were very helpful and very supportive.
When you book we recommend you ask for rooms to the back of the building. The Nevins is at THE Wild Atlantic Way, with at least during the day a lot of traffic.”

“Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect!
The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects.”

“I felt so warmly received by everyone. It was a beautiful historic place and I’m happy that I made the drive. What a lovely time. My particularly liked the musicians in the bar. “Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted……

The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here.
