“We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff.”

“Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily. Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended. The room was very comfortable, food delicious (we had dinner and breakfast), all the staff really friendly and helpful, and the whole set up with parking and a lovely beer garden all made for a great night's stay. Thought it could be noisy but wasn't at all. Would definitely stay again (or drop in for food and drinks) if ever back in the area.”

“A very relaxed stay in a beautiful stylish house with all comforts. The executive suite is very spacious and the bed very comfortable, it is on the roadside but we didn’t hear traffic but did use eye mask for the light after closing the blinds still allowed a little through and we had a great sleep. Breakfast offered several choices so something for everyone and it was plentiful & delicious. We highly recommend a stay here and an explore around Tewkesbury”
