“We loved our stay very much! It had everything we could need, was decorated so cute and had a wonderful pool! They thought of everything with this home. It is a nice drive to Padre and Port A, close to HEB and other stores. Every morning we heard and saw so many birds while starting the day. The beds were comfy. They had pool towels and a nice coffee bar - not to mention the actual bar with recipes on the wall. So creative and cute. I would 100 recommend this home. We had a great time! ”

“The property had many accommodations and activities to do during the stay. From the living/sleeping spaces, the game room, and the outdoor spaces. There was plenty to do. The water was lower than shown in the photo (the water was not close to the dock like the photo, had to walk to get to the shore). Host had good communication and answered all questions. Highly recommend unless the water level is a deal breaker.”

Having said that we have identified some pros and cons for future guests.We rented this home so we could be close to Whataburger Field.Pros. 1. Very well set up for a small family. It was just two of us so we had plenty of room.2. Very close to the beach and the concrete sidewalk at the beach was a winner.3. Excellent view of the bay so watching the ship traffic was very cool.4. Peaceful community and close……

“The property was very clean and suited our needs. However, arriving and seeing how low the lake has apparently been for over a decade was a bummer. The pictures on VRBO need to be updated. We were also unaware we’d be sharing the property with down stairs tenants.”
