“Great pool area. Restaurant was closed while we were there, but was right next to pool and looked nice. Futon in room was only place to sit to watch tv and was very uncomfortable, but we weren't at Magnetic Island to watch tv anyway. “Run by locals and absolutely seamless experience. Although an older motel, it is perfect. Rooms are clean with easy access. Late check in was no problem and was able to extend my stay with ease! I will be checking Cascade first when I plan my next trip to Townsville! Loved that older style where your vehicle is parked right outside your door. Highly recommend this place if available. ”
