We greatly enjoyed walking around the property with our dog, checking out the horses and chickens and we caught a glimpse of a barn cat. Great coffee/ restaurant right around the corner. It was close to the street but I had no problem sleeping. Bed was very comfortable Great parking behind the home. “It is a simple and beautiful set up on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed saying hello to the goats each time we arrived and everything was very smooth. The only oddity is that there are very few light switches several of the ceiling lights are turned on at the light. I would definitely stay here again. “This little place is well located for taking advantage of Shepherdstown’s walkability, eateries and of course the Mec! The host was super responsive and helpful. Good clear communication and a desire to provide excellent customer service. There is road noise as the house fronts a primary road btw Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. But that dies out by 11 pm and it’s quite until 7:30. I offer this for those who are super light sleepers. It didn’t bother me at all and I slept soundly in a……
