“My husband and I were finally able to take our youngest kids (18 & 21 years old) to see the D.C. area along with Gettysburg. The place is literally on the corner of 2 major roads in town. I was a bit surprised how near the traffic was. It could be noisy at times but did not bother us too much. It may bother others who are light sleepers. “It is a simple and beautiful set up on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed saying hello to the goats each time we arrived and everything was very smooth. The only oddity is that there are very few light switches several of the ceiling lights are turned on at the light. I would definitely stay here again. Good clear communication and a desire to provide excellent customer service. There is road noise as the house fronts a primary road btw Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. “We enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin for a girls trip. Was everything we needed and wanted and the perfect space for 3 adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending).
